Jack Daniels Distillery Tour --UPDATED w/ pics!!!
Has anybody ever gone on the JD Distillery tour? If so, what'd you think?
My wife and I are going to Nashville for a mini-vacation in late September and are looking for things to do! Being an avid JD consumer, I've always wanted to go on the distillery tour, but it'* 6 hours long!! If it'* not a good tour, I'm not gonna waste nearly a full day of our four day trip (and $70 of our money)!

I would go for it. I would also check out the Country Music Hall of Fame. That is pretty interesting. We even got to take a tour of Music Row and a studio that Elvis recorded in. I want to say it was Studio 51 or something like that. I have all kinds of pics from that trip.

I already got tickets for a show at the Grand Ole Opry, but now just looking for more to do. The JD tour looks like it'd be a lot of fun.
I did that tour in 1985. It wasn't that much, and I had a military discount. Don't remember for sure. But from what I remember, I don't think $35 each was worth it. The tour itself may have improved though. It was really interesting.
