I'm sorry to hear that man :(

My dad'* father passed away in like 1978, my dad died last year at only 52 (approximately the same age as his father). My dad'* mother died in 91, and my mom'* dad passed away around 91 as well. I don't really recall what it'* like to lose a grandparent as I was only two years old in 1991, but I know what it'* like to lose a loved one.

My condolences to you, your family, and anyone that may have known her. She is in a better place now...

Sorry for your loss. At least she went in peace. I had to watch my Grandpa die in front of me after he suffered from an anhydrous ammonia farming accident. I only have 1 living grandparent left at age 23. I'll be thinking about you and your family.

I am very sorry about your loss. I came to the US in 94, and that'* the last time I saw my grandfather. He passed away only a few years ago, but I got to talk to him over the phone. You have my condolences. Take care of yourself.

Well just a little update....She was laid to rest Wednesday next to my grandfather. The funeral was very nice, everyone showed up, and everything went like it should, except I wimped out and didn't go to the showing, but I went to the funeral. I am just the type that doesn't like to see a person after they had died, I didn't go to my other Grandma'* showing either. I get kinda creeped out.

Everything is now finalized.... Funeral is paid for (what a chunk of $$), and the Will is being read today. Unfortunantely, the will states that the house we are living in right now is to be sold, and profits will be split between my Dad, and his two twin sisters. The good thing is his sisters agreed to let him have the house, as they owed my grandma money, and are choosing to sign off, and agreed to alter the will to my Dad'* liking. So most likely the house will be kept by my Dad and remodeled, it'* in need of basement wall work and some other updates.

I'm 19 and my father committed suicide at 7, so I know how it feels to not have one..

I don't blame you for not going to the viewing. I went to my grandma'* viewing, that was my first funeral since I was born.

It wasn't fun...
