To get in the 13'*, its easy.

CAI, 3.4 or 3.25 pulley, headers or PEM'*, DP, PCM, and rockers will take you way deep in the 13'*.

The GTP will respond a just a slight bit better to mods than the Bonnies because of weight differences.

8mm wires, MSD coil packs, you can also pick up a reprogrammed PCM for a couple hundred. Check out http://www.pfyc.com and http://www.3800performance.com

The pre 97'*, or the chassis before them, had either a 3100, or 3.4L DOHC V6. There was even a turbocharged 3100 in very rare models in the early 90'*.

Are the 3400'* pretty quick, or can they be made into something fast, resonably speaking with money. Do you think an L67 could fit in the body style of a pre 97?

Check out www.l67swap.com

They didn't have 3400'*. They had the 3.4L DOHC. It was fairly quick, but the engine had some problems.

I was thinking you meant the widetrack body still unless you meant the 96 body like the one givemebreak has. As Sol stated, they older ones has a 3400 3100 3.1 3.1 turbo and 2.8 You can also get a GP GT Supercharged but those are rare.
