both are pretty good cars, exterior wise the Olds has an advantage, the GLS trim owns over the and GT'* w/o that nice little ram air hood, I'd say go for the GLS, or GT with the vented hood mounts insted of the norm GT.

but in all reality, the GT is a very nice car! I like the ram air V-6 but i still wouldnt give up my SSE for one!!! Good luck with the car hunt PJ and please dont leave us when you find another ride!!!

my alero has the 3400, we bought the Extended warranty for another 3 years. I actually added 1 litre(quart) to the rad tank about 3 weeks ago, as it has been low since purchase. The level hasn't dropped yet, i have been keeping my eye on it, and oil condition, incase it suddenly develops this condition. My guess is, it is a fairly easy job to do on this motor.
