I can't stand people my age.. they are just so immature, that'* why I hang out with sophmores, juniors, and a few seniors. Just because their maturity level is much higher.

Your one of the lucky ones then, opensource. What peeps here have said is pretty spot on. I'm going into my Sophmore year in college, like Sol, although I'm going the community college route until Junior year, and I had some REALLY hard times in school. Elementary school was a crazy rollercoaster, due to ADHD and that friggin' street drug they pan off as Ritalin. If you know anyone who'* gpoing to be prescribed that, strongly encourage them to find a natural supplement or otherwise. It'* bad voodoo, that Ritalin... anyway, I was always the outsider on elementary school. In middle school, it was even worse. Even 8th grade, it sucked. I was even kind of thinking that I might go through the trouble of home or private-schooling my kids (when I get some, lol :P ) during the middle school years. That'* how bad those years were for me, at least :( 9th and 10th are kind of half-assed holdovers from middle school, although 9th is better than 8th, 10th better than 9th, you get the idea. It gets better all the while. Sophomore and Senior years were the best, though Never had many friends, by choice, really. I kind of tried to limit my interaction with many fellow classmates because of their immaturity. And I never could stand when the popular kids had the audacity to look down on other classmates. Often times, the contempt was due to the popular kids' immaturity, looking down on those who actually went to class and didn't do drugs or drink themselves comatose. Sucks that it has to be harder, many times, on the people who really should be getting the most respect of all :( Anywho, you'll find that those last two years rock They really do. Senior year especially turned out to be the one that I found out that I actually had way more friends than I thought. Heck, I tried to stay out of the mainstream, and I still ended up in it in many ways, and it might have been pretty juvenile, but it was still fun :P Anyways, this was certainly a great venting session for me, and I hope I helped someone, somehow, in some way with my almost unintelligeble rant :P

College has been the best fun for me...although my only regret is that i didnt stay on campus. So a bit of advice, if you can, stay on campus so you can get the entire college feel.
