Got a new job.
Starting November 6 I will be taking a new position at the same business. I'm leaving my current job of Desktop Support Technician to become the Telecommunications and Connectivity Assistant. Basically I'll be incharge of the VOIP and legacy phone system and I'll be the number 2 guy running the network. This is both good and bad... The good is it means another 8k a year in my paycheck and, if I'm given a favorable one year review, I get another 2k. The bad, I'm on call 24/7 for 50% of the time and the job brings a lot of new responsibilites.
So, woohoo and ugh!

Hee, hee... Actually we're looking at moving to another house somewhere in the area. We've talked about a buying a duplex and renting out half. The extra money will help get cought up on the bills, replace the wife'* truck, and hopefully upgrade my SE to an SSEi. {crosses fingers}
