I got a new Cannon Power Shot A630 with 8.0 mps. Its a lot sharper that my old 1998 Olympus 1.2 mps. What do yall got for cameras cause the pics on this site are really sharp.

great camera....read the book and every shot can look amazing.

I know there is nothing attractive about reading it, but there is also nothing more helpful.

Yup, and the hairline scratches didn't show with my old camera but do with this one. I've been taking pics of my cat all day and they almost look pro and i'm a photography noob.

I bought the A630 for my wife for Christmas, too! I can't wait for her to open it so I can start using it!

The camera came HIGHLY recommended to me from a photography nut.

bought this for $500 about two years ago. Getting tired of it sorta and want to upgrade, but can't. I had my old 1.0 MP for 5 years before buying this expensive one, it'll take me a while to grab another after this lol

idk how you are getting tired of that camera unless you have reached its manual mode limits.

I have the canon S3 IS, which is pretty similar to the A630 (not in size and shape but features and the canon menu set up and stuff) and other than a DSLR, I cant think of any other camera that I would want.
