Default Good news warranty story Lund International AVS hood protectors

We all have had warranty support issues with vendors, seems tougher and tougher to get a part exchanged.

My Son'* S10 hood protector developed a crack. The brand is AVS, made by Lund International which makes a lot of aftermarket products for GM trucks and SUVs. Many Lund products have a lifetime warranty.

I contacted Lund via e-mail and inquired about the warranty. Minutes later I received a reply back with very simple and easy to complete instructions to get a warranty replacement. I e-mailed back the simple data, and then received the following from Lund:

"replacement bugflector will ship within the next 2 - 3 days via FEDEX ground at no charge. You are not required to return the original shield. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know."

Wow a real human reply, no red tape, no hassle. Very impressed by Lund'* support of their product.
