the D link I had was CRAP.

I am REALLY glad I spent the 50 bucks on a linksys 4 port wireless G router.

Right now I am using some huge tower router from verizion for thier Fios service. Range sucks so I am gonna plug my trusty Netgear G router into it on of these days

Lol...$50.00..when the first wireless routers came out a few years ago from linksys they were just under $300.00 on sale....lol

Comcast Owns mine. I figured at the rate that electronics gets upgraded, Comcast can upgrade me at no cost since its their equipment and I dont have to buy anything.

Yeah as long as theres no rental fee why not. At Cablevision we used to charge customers up to $10.00 a month rental on the cable modems but we now lend them for free.

I've been pricing Comcast Internet (should be getting it real soon) and they will rent you a wireless router. They will here anyways. Go to www.comcast.com for more info

Hell I bought my 802.11B router 3.5 years ago for $60 after a rebate...

I wouldn't rent a wireless router, i'd just go ahead and get your own. We just got Charger 3meg service here in the apt, and I love it. Although our cable modem is smaller then any we've ever had.
