Can I go wrong with a D-Link or Lynksis 802.11g router? Or are there some to stay away from?

My preference is a Linksys G based router.

It has the old B stuff and the speed of the newer stuff w/o going into the A standard that appears not to be catching on as manufacturers hoped.

I'm sure D Link would work just as good though.

Linksys would be my choice, but Dlink is good too. They would be my top two choices. I use Linksys currently.

128 bit encryption and enable the WEP You will need to create a paraphrase to generate the encryption code. Make sure to write it down.
