nice sarah. you should take lots of pics during the install/issues you might run into. ive got my eye on my grandfathers 01 silvy with a whopping 22k on it. that will probably one of my first mods. lol

lift is not a good mod unless you really use it off road. takes away mileage, makes things harder to load/unload, the off road shocks usually arent that good for road and towing, puts stress on all the drivetrain parts etc...

Agreed here. My brother has finally realized this after 3 years of having his F250 (mild lift kit). He just sold it and is now looking for a stock ride height F350 or F450

im more intrested in playing with it. no sense in using it as a dd when i have a 25mpg car sitting in the drive already. honestly ill probably just cheap out and get leveling blocks or something, but i would like to do what sarah is gonna do someday. lots of trails around here and the dunes to play in.

its alot easier if you do want to go off road to get something easy to fix like a old jeep. but even those are expensive after a while. thats why i sol my jeep and got quads they hold up a million times better and not having my truck in the mud works out a ton better for not replacing everything below the mud line all the time

My soon to be project is either a 5.3 or 5.7 swap.

I'm doing it because I've wanted this since I was a little kid. May not be your cup of tea but I've worked for it for a while and am excited to finally get it. I'm on many truck forums and most of my friends have them so I know exactly what I'm getting into.

hey all, im trying to find a floor mount center console for my car..

the only place i can find it is from the dealer for $193.

it was in the lesabre, and the park avenue as an option for salesmen.

some look like this,

http://images.carparts.com/design/as...es/console.jpg

but the part numbers and the one i would prefer is this one.

http://media.ed.edmunds-media.com/bu..._oem_5_423.jpg

http://s3.amazonaws.com/2cp-images/q...jpg?1333406647

gm part number is one or both of these. 25701960 ; 25657414

thanks alot guys, i would immensely appreciate a link. i cant find one in any yard around me.
