no, you can own a gun in indiana without a permit. but ive got my lifetime cc permit in indiana. just made it easier incase i got pulled over or what have you. indiana cops are ********. but when i found out chicago where i spent about half my time was run by communists i sold it. cant even carry a gun there unless its discharged and there is no clip or ammunition near by. one of my friends got a big *** fine and his gun taken because he had the gun in a case with the ammo in his trunk :/

Illinois is just as bad a California with their gun laws. Really sucks for all the farmers that are there. They need them more than anybody else.
