Well, the pictures are so dark that it'* hard to tell, but from here it looks like fossilized elephant turd.

I will try to take some more, but with the flash it is not too visible. It looks like a quartz or something. lol

Well what is werid is that where she was digging there isnt much actualy soil, it is almost all solid ledge. I mean more then likely it is nothing but it looks like quartz or something like that. Very shinny, and actually REALLY heavy. That piece is about the size of my first and weighs atleast 7-10 pounds. For the size it is super heavy.

Well, again, from the poor pictures it'* hard to say, but you may indeed have found something interesting. The possibilities include: geode, meteorite, garnet, etc.

Try and get some better pics and maybe this time use natural light and no flash. Sometimes that works better.

I certainly wouldn't throw it out until you determined what it is. Why, even fossilized elephant dung is worth something...
