Default Get the 22"

Not bad for under $300 shipped.

I think I gotta get rid of the 19" to be able to pay some bills though.

It seems nicer than other 22" I've seen.

it works great for BC browsing..no sidescroll on the 20 megapixel pictures.

Nice. I use two 23" ones at work. I need to get some for home!

The cheapest 23" on newegg is $759.

The cheapest 24" is 629.

Odd.

A lot cheaper than the Mac displays I use! I'd just go with some of those for both computers if I ever upgraded.

Looks nice! You order it strait from Dell? I have been wanting a flat screen for my desktop.
I swear I have that same laptop. Is it a Latitude D600?

So hows this Dell monitor on games and video'*?
I haven't seen a decent review yet.
What are the width and height while on the base unit? I want to make sure it fits in my desk.

Anyone got a Discount code they're not going to use?

its big. check the specs on the website.

It has better color than my $300 premium 19" samsung 940b, however it does have some backlight bleed at the top and bottom (100% normal for all the 22" lcds)...this is the same panel as what is used in the viewsonic and samsung displays, they are all TN panels made by chemie or whatever the company is.

its a nice screen for the price is all i can say. very similar color quality to the 2407WFP'* we have at work.

If you play games make sure they support the widescreen resolution....

Hmmm, that brings up a good point, if the game doesn't support widescreen are the edges blacked out for the extra 'unused' resolution or is the imaged stretched to fit?

Edit - the website lists the dimensions as:
(Height x Width x Depth) 333.54mm x 511.14mm x 65mm (13.13” x 20.12” x 2.56”)

Are they measuring LCD'* diagonally too! Sheesh.

Lastly, the one review on Dell does not rate this monitor very well at all.
