Default GAH! Not again!

They are changing our cable companies AGAIN. We have had Comcast since 1999 and now we are being changed over to Time Warner. In the past 20 some years, Amherst has had maybe 15 different cable companies, some over and over.

Anyone have Time Warner? Are they cheaper or faster?

Ahh yes, getting switched and having no say in it whatsoever. Kinda like how Comcast took over every cable company in Chicagoland like they are some Communist regime and imposed the expensive and ridiculous fees. All you can do is grab your ankles and take it. It sucks.

I had Time Warner at my old place, no problems whatsoever.

because satellite is still an antennae, meaning you still have issues at times. And I have yet to talk to anyone who was happy with satellite internet

We have had TW cable in this town since cable first came out. They are not so bad. I was a Beta tester in Fort Drum back in 2000. It was slower than my 26k dial up. Yes, my dial up only connected at 26k. Something about the on post phone lines. Road Runner is pretty good. Never had a problem. Careful though, in some areas they have like 2 or 3 connection rates. Like $40 for about 300k and you get the picture.
