G6 GTP Question..

My GF has an 06 G6 GTP and it has the actory remote start / door locks, but it does not work. Anyoone know how to resync the remote to the car? Looking for a few brownie points

Is the battery any good, did you replace it?

The cars only has 29K on it, so i am assuming that the battery should be fine. But if I replace the battery, don't i need to resync it like the Bonnies?
