the future brace face/ metal mouth
I didn't think braces were that bad...really, I had an easy time with it. Once you get used to it, you'll have a hard time imagine them not being there. Just make sure to follow all the instructions you get, it will only help you get them off as soon as possible.

Oh, another thing, avoid TicTacs. Seriously, the only time I broke off a bracket was when I was chewing on a TicTac and it wedged itself kinda between an upper and lower bracket, breaking one off. Other then that, remember if your teeth hurt, It should get much better in a couple of days. In the end, you will love your teeth.

I wish braces could help me. it'* not my teeth that are messed up, my friggin' jaw is crooked :( Doesn't look too bad, but I can only effectively chew on one side of my mouth :( Be glad you can wear braces, that will actually help, at least
Never had braces when I was younger, and I can't ever see getting them "installed" in my adult years. It would be purely cosmetic, as my childhood dentist said I never needed them for health/medical purposes. Oh well, I guess I can live without Hollywood teeth!
