Thankfully they got him. He probably ran the stop sign trying to get away from the Malibu he just destroyed. Dumb drivers.

In EMS we have this saying... "You can't cure STUPID!"

none of my friends were hurt, they were inside at the time.

the civic owner was apparently in good enough health to drive off. he was not hospitalized. im sure that he'll soon be suing chris for hospital bills and pain & suffering for parking his car on the street.

the insurance company doesnt want to say totalled or not until they get it on a lift and look at the underbody damage.

hes already asking me to go with him to look at cars.

The kid should have been arrested for hit-n-run.
As for the Malibu, it probably will be totalled. Just in the pics I see damge to the enitre door portal, not just the B-pillar. There is definite damage to the sill and rockers around the pillar, and the arch right at the B-pillar. The suspension mounts at the right rear are probably badly damaged, and the under body probably has some minor damage, things like brake- and fuel- lines and exhaust may also have been damaged. Just the fact that the Bu got hit hard enough to spring the fuel door open is a bad sign...
