my friend got a 1990 camaro, he got it for $500 needed muffler, clutch and back breaks. well it pulls like he** it has a hard time getting traction with new tires. well the owner wasnt sure that it has under the hood he guessed it was a 305 but this this pulls way to hard for a 305. so how do i tell between a 305 and 350? it * fuel injectied if that matters.

Look ontop of the radiator area, or something. 5.0L is a 305, 5.7L is a 350.

Is it an IROC? The IROC is the only Camaro that came with a 350 option with 230 hp and 330 ft. of torque.

ill get a pic when i goto his house. but the motor isnt stock cuz the tach is always redlining. but it sounds fine isnt doesnt sound like its redlining but it could be broken.

the 305 had fuel injection in the 80'* but I don't think the 350 had anything better than throttle body fuel injection until after 95 or so.

You could get a Tuned Port Injection 305 starting in 1985. The Tuned Port Injection 350 (5.7) started in 1987 but could only be had with an automatic, the 305 was available with a 5 speed. There was also a throttle body injection 305 as an option on the base models.
