While on the topic of the spammer thing. I think it is fine where it is IF there is a way to imediately edit posts. I frequently make a mistake and I hate waiting for a while to have to correct it.
An edit is considered a new post by the database. The flood interval applies to both in the same manner. We cannot differentiate.

It seems that if there are more than 2 members searching, you're going to be slow. Right now there are 3.

It'* still better though. When 3 members searched at the same time before, it slowed us down to a crawl. Now it'* just a delay.

Also keep in mind that there are over 30 members logged in right now.

Ooooooohhh....THAT'* what happened yesterday. I was trying to do a search and just about broke my nose on the monitor 'cause it slowed so quickly...

I ended up deleting my search 'cause it hung so long.

Now I understand why.

And BTW,
It does seem faster to me now, so I'll vote.

More critical errors today than usual. Problem seems to happen when Oregon logs on.

More than usual? Hmmm... In theory, there shouldn't be any critical errors. What type of critical errors are you seeing?
