I'm pretty sure I'm getting the flu. Everyone in my family has had it, and I miraculously avoided it. Until now. What is the best way to prevent it or treat it??? I don't want to, ahem, CAN'T miss a day of work, so any help would be awesome. Thanks
sleep/ rest as much as you can, dont go out in the cold etc. take in alot of vitamin c and WATER. not much can cure it but you can make it last a little less longer and hopefully it wont be as bad as it can be

Yeah, I've been trying. I take this stuff called Airborn which supposedly has a ton of Vitamin C in it. I just took one a few minutes ago, and I think it'* been holding it off for a bit... Sleep is hard because it'* hard for me to take naps, for some reason, and I'm just not tired...
It'* disgusting stuff, but the TheraFlu crap helps me...Airborn will work too, take some Zinc, Echinacea, Garlic pills, Ginger pills...all of that stuff helps. Just google "natural flu remedy" and it'll take you to a list of stuff that can help you.
Yes, sleep...and sleep some more, juices, water, soup...
Hope you feel better man...

After a lot of sleep, Airborne and water, I think I'm feeling better now. My appetite'* back and I haven't felt sick since the afternoon. I hate the flu
All those natural remedies are the best. You need vitamins and minerals, basically. The flu pills just alleviate your symptoms, but you'll still be sick (best save those for when you're at work, not while you're trying to get better). Vitamin C, water, zinc, water. Eat well, stay away from sugary juices or sugary anything in general.
