Here in Sauk Centre where it'* VERY hard to get a job for over $8/hr the cheapest place that can compare to that is $600. Thirty miles away in Alexandria $9.50/hr is a good find and a comparable apt is $650-$700.
40 miles in the other direction from Sauk Centre is St. Cloud, MN, and if you can get an apt like that for under $800 with a covered parking spot, you know you've been on a waiting list for over a year.
