Default FINALLY got a new camera!! update: don't really like it

My mom has had a Canon G7 for about a year now, and from the little time I have had to play with it, I loved it. When my mom slipped and fell on her camera back before Christmas, my family got together and bought her a new one I found on craigslist. Her dropped one went into the shop and had the repairs done. For my birthday (jan 13) my parents gave me back the original camera we had got for her. Now me and my mom have the exact same camera

Of course, you realize that at native resolution, 10Mp is going to be nearly five feet wide...

I have a G6, it'* a great camera. It has a larger aperture lens (f/2), but the G7 (f/2.8 ) has IS! Fair tradeoff I suppose.

I'm not impressed with this camera for its price tag. Other than the lense smudges, my Sony DSC-P100 takes better looking pictures IMO. The G7'* photos seem grainy to me.

I have it up for sale on craigslist.

Opinions on the $50 Sony (if that) compared to the $400 Canon?
