Default Finally, the break in life I was waiting for.

To start, yesterday I took a trip to Detroit for work, and since the building I go to is adjoined with the Greektown Casino parking ramp, I park there, and go gamble $10 so I can get my parking validated instead of just paying to park. I figure this way I can have the chance of something like this happening, all while on company time!

It'* not a LOT of money, but it'* about $135 more than I walked in there with.

Then, this morning, I check my mail, and this letter from the hospital is in there. Some of you may remember that I was in the ER about a month ago having heart problems...my bill was over $2000...and that was pretty much a bigger financial burden than I could take on...but then....

I'm a happy guy right now...not having to pay that ER bill is a Godsend to me...I mean, just think of how many mods I can do with that money

x2. Good to see good things happen to good people.
Might be a good idea to share a little of your blessings with someone else who can use it too.

I always make sure I share my blessings with other people in need whenever possible...as long as I can do something to help without hurting myself, I do...

As for this blessing (the first one)...it'* actually my car payment money now, I had such a flurry of bills at the beginning of this month, I was actually going to have to use my 10 day grace period to pay the first payment on the Bonneville...and now I don't have to.

It'* true, good things happen to people who wait...I've been waiting for a break for a long time now...my suggestion to anyone else who may be hurting right now, hang in there...yours is coming

Glad to hear you are willing to give back. Figure you were, most of the good folks here are. Very glad to hear the money helped you out on the car payment. Sounds like the money came at the perfect time.
I agree with you, indefinitely need to hang in there sometimes, things usually end up working out.
