yes...

and there was a recall on it back in 98 if im right.
That recall didn't start until 2003. I got notification in the mail in late 2003 for our old 99. But, it did encompass all L36s for the 1998 - 2002 era.

I have seen 3-4 GTP'* in the yards with engine fires. I know they had issues with the Injector O-rings I believe cause there have been a lot of them that catch fire (check ClubGP)

As for the NA, I have not seen any in the yards yet with this issue, but have heard both the fuse box and FPR issues from others outside this forum, so both are prevalent.
