Well last week I was chillin at home, and got the call. My girlfriend had lent her car to her cousin to drive to a concert. Her cousin was on the other end of the phone, she said she ran over a curb in my gf'* 1999 Saturn SC1 POS. She said it started acting funny after she drove a few miles, can I come look at it? I grabbed my tools and headed out. When I found the car, all of the tranny fluid had spewed all over the ground, I freaked. I support my gf, therefore I would have to fix this. I walked over to pop the hood, when I got to the car, I saw that the airbags have deployed, and the girls tried to play it off by tucking them back in. The aftermath was, broken motor mounts, destroyed tranny, from driving it with no fluid, and deployed airbags. Well the insurance man called me two days ago, the car was a total loss, thank God that was the only car out of the four we own with full coverage. I am going to pick up the latest addition to the stable today, thank you Progressive. We are getting a 1998 GTP Coupe. Black with grey leather and all the options except for the moonroof. She doesn't like my bonnevilles, but the GTP is so much nicer with a Saturn. Her only comment was, "Oh, it has power windows and a CD player right?"

Can't stand Saturns! She doesn't need to borrow out any of the cars to anyone else. Although your insurance would be principle and the cousins would be secondary if need be.

Picked up the GTP on Saturday. I'm pretty impressed, can't wait to get my L67 in the Bonnie. My gf scares me in it a little though. Going from a 1.9 SOHC to an L67 is a big upgrade, and she has a heavy foot, that wasn't a big deal in a car that can't get out of it'* own way. Funny thing though, the insurance check for the saturn paid off the GTP, and left some money to spare. I'll post some pics soon of the wreck and the GTP.

LMFAO...saturns are such POS. Probably a good thing it happened too, as you now have a GTP.
