Oh yeah, i have only ran this thing all out twice. Today when i jumped on it, it smelled funny, suspect blowing carbon. it sounds like it is pinging at low rpm under load. here is my to do list:

Radiator
Fuel Filter
Seafoam
Full Tune up
Transmission service.
Make sure to see if you can manually pull codes to see if any are stored

Welp, when you buy one from a friend, it'* pretty much yours. No need to even ask about having him put the radiator in, it'* so darn easy (albeit a little messy.)

Usually you are just a few 10mm bolts and clamps away from taking the radiator out...it should come out without disturbing the condensor core provided someone didn't put an aux tranny cooler on the car (which would be a good investment for you to make if they didn't.)

New radiator is in. was a relatively painless procedure. just paid for insurance on it. went to my usual insurance hideout, and they wanted $470 for 6 months. They were about to renew the tempo for about $440. that was with only 25/50k liability and uninsured motorist property. Shopped around, and picked up AIG auto for about $320 for 6 months, with $10k max uninsured motorist property <should cover the cost of the car, i hope > and 25/50 bodily. as of 12:01am mst 4/9/08, the car is properly insured and ready for the road.

Now, i dont know which car to take to work tomorrow :(

Wholly Krap!!

This car needed that!

Changed the fuel filter <dirty as heck>, air filter <dusty as heck> and threw a can of seafoam in half a tank of gas, with another can in the intake <smoky as heck>.

I can now barely break traction off of a stop light.

I will wait until a couple tanks of gas to do a full tuneup though so i only change the sparkplugs once
