Wow, this got serious real quick. It was previously posted that people nag at GMs like this on other forums, well, that'* there opinion, this is mine. I can't stand Fords. I owned a 1982 Ford LTD Crown Vic with the 5.0 PI, and it was the biggest POS I've ever seen. Car never even touched the road, and that was after a lot of time, labor, and money went into it. It was ultimately junked.

My dad has a 1991 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat with the 5.0L, it is another junker. Everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong with this truck, and that is after meticulous baby-ing from the previous owner.

My dad'* best friend has a 1993 Ford F-150 XL with the 6 cylinder. Transmission shot at 30K. Still can't figure out why.

On the other hand, one of my dad'* other friends has a 1984 Ford LTD Crown Vic, and it'* a very good car.

There will always be cars made by a company that are junk, and people will always have there opinions on these cars. Bring a FoMoCo into a GM biased forum, you WILL get flamed at one time or another, and you WILL get nagged at. Same with bringing a GM into a FoMoCo forum.

Thank you.

With that, this topic is done.
