I'm using Nero 7 Ultra Edition. Got it from a friend who got it from http://www.mininova.org/
I'm also using Vista and so far no problems...

I use convertXtoDVD works great, dont remember where I got it.

DVD Shrink along with Nero 7. Sometimes I have to use RipIt4Me and DVD decrypter if they cause any problems.

I've used DVD43 and it'* a good program, but find DVDFab HD Decrypter 4 better. IT works on all kinds of formats, like ipod, psp, cell phones and more...download same place as mentioned above

i use dvd fab platinum for the last year or so and have had no problems. imo it is the best that i have used (and i have used alot) i think i have used every one that has been mentioned so far. I got it from www.warez-bb.org

BitTorrent FTW! Also, if you don't mind Linux (ex. Ubuntu) there are PLENTY of great and LEGALLY free programs for DVD ripping/burning. Then again, if you're ripping and burning DVDs, chances are you're not concerned with legality anyways..lol.
