Good point... I should do that.. nothing like some chasing music.. or in case of rice.. more like take off music. Will definitely look into it...

OK, I'm going to weigh in on this one....
One of my absolute ALL-TIME favorite driving songs is the Fat Boy Slim remix version of "Magic Carpet Ride". Find it. Listen to it. Love it.

I slapped that song on on a CD before I went to Vegas in March 2001. When I got there, the rental company didn't have the full size car I paid for, so they upgraded me to luxury for free, and I drove a Chrysler 300M for a week (say what you want about Mopar, this is a SWEET ride.)
When I popped that CD in and hit that song, well, let me tell you, the 300M criuses VERY well at 110MPH through the Arizona desert...

Other favorites: AC/DC "Highway to Hell", STP "Interstate Love Song", Golden Earring "Radar Love". I could go on and on.

Default depends

what mood im in..

I fluctuate(sp?) in my likes...

I play acoustic guitar, so I listen to a lot of music that has the sound...
Tom Petty, Shawn Colvin ....And love to drive and take in all the chords in my head.....and go home and play out what I retained while driving.

I can cruise to Metallica then turn a corner and want to listen to Shania Twain...

I love pump me up music, techno dance from the 80'* is so awsome to drive to...and to do other things to....ya exercise thats it!!!LMBO!

I have to be really careful, if I get too into the music, I get a speedin ticket, I got kids, so I have to be somewhat responsible:( So I try to keep it calm....

So in the end...not one song or artist will ever satisfy me.....I love variety.

Ok, dredging up old threads...lol

I just have to ad a song to this ever growing list.

Rammstien - Du Hast

One bad motherXXXXX of a song that makes you feel like you own the road!

Neat thread...never seen it before. Well, I drive to jazz house or downtempo. Personally, my top 3 choices of songs to listen too.

1. Get a Move On: Mr Scruff (from the Lincoln ads)
2. Breathe: Telepopmuzik (seen it in the Mitsuibishi ad in front of Honest Eds on Bathurst in Toronto!!!, I know its a Mitsui, bit still...)
and 3. Chocolate Elvis : Tosca (from the Pontiac Vibe ad)

Hmm, notice the pattern...?
