you get up in the morning, check your balance on your bank account, and find that you have ~$7. then you go to walmart, spend ~$6 on food, then check your accounts later and find a nice $33 over draft fee? happened to me. dont know why, dont know how. rarely do i use checks, mostly check card stuff, which posts to the account instantly. never have i bounced anything. i think i will call the bank tomorrow and have a word with them about this. see if they can waive the OD fee for me cause this is the first time in over a year and a half of service with them.

bah :?

Some places charge like .50cents when you use your debit card to make purchases. So, I always remember to use the credit function when buying stuff. Even though its only a debit card.

I've noticed not all check card/debit purchases post immediately. Especially if you use it online. And I know I had a problem with PayPal taking more money than the charge was for, but I guess that'* common and it was waived immediately.
