I let someone else take the hit... my '04 with 14k miles listed at $15995 I paid less than that for it!

Well, I guess I take a different tack... I don't buy with the intention of trading it in for resale value. By the time I'm done with the vehicle, it'* resale value is measured by it'* scrap steel content I'm harder on them than fleet service vehicles.

Last new car I bought was the '94 Camaro (purchased in October 1993). It'* now past 177k miles on it and is going to get pushed well past 250k before it'* done (Maybe). The '97 Astro was purchased in 1999 with 20k on it already, it'* well over 100K too. The '87 Camaro has in excess of 200K on it'* frame (lost track of the total miles two speedometers ago.) It is damn near indestructable with subframe connectors and has served as the motor test mule for years.

Also kinda nice not seeing a car payment for a couple of years

Sounds like Bill been slippin his homebrews to GM insiders. Is the Firebird going to look as the Camaro concept did at this years Detroit Show?

Similar. And kiss FWD goodbye within 3 years. The transition will take that long. AWD is still up in the air.

And this isn't conjecture. I don't blow smoke.

So long as they do justice to the name and heritage of the Firebird. Unlike some other names GM has "brought back"....
