Just the reputation. The Bonnie is not a desirable car, in which there is a lower resale because the public won't buy it otherwise. If you wanted a higher resale value always go imported...

I know that GM is trying to boost their resale values. That'* what the salesman told me.
I never buy new for that reason. The Bonnie i bought i got for 20,000 cheaper than what it sold for new last year.

I wouldn't trade in a new car, especially a new Bonne GXP, I'd sell it. You get ripped on trade-ins. The dealer would easily make $11,000 over the trade-in value they give you for it. You could sell it yourself for $5K more than what they'd give you for it too.
Back in April of 2004 I saw an 04 GXP with 6,000 miles selling for $20,000. This was a dealership that sold everything at least $3K less than any other place did though. But even $23,000 is cheap considering. It'* definitely more of a buyer'* market when it comes to used cars.
