Does someone have a shoe horn?
One of the newest members of my site ( malibuclub.ca) did a 3800 swap a few years ago. I told him to clean his engine, but here is the link to his yahoo account( it may go down if too many peek at it, you know yahoo). Damn I wish I could do that, lol. Now THAT is a sleeper, well minus the hood scoop.

...and the chrome fender thingers, and the wing...
I didn't even look at the wing. It is a BIT higher than the OEM one, lol.
But I still gotta give it to him for doing this over a year ago. At least he didn't do the 3400 swap that most do for the malibu. That musta been a bunch of work to get that to fit. Here is a quote from the post on my forum
3800 series II that came off a 2000 gtp. Motor wise, put in 180 degree thermostat, transmission cooler, custom fan switch, and a 3.5" pulley
EDIT: One thing I have found about the Malibu, is that you see them riced up way more than the Bonneville. Seeing that you have many different types of body kits available to them also.
It is funny cause there are some members still calling others ricers, lol. It is a VERY fine line between nice and rice over there, lol.

Ok... I'd definitely drive the wheels off that car. Tight fit is an understatement.
I'd be interested to talk to the guy and see what he needed to do to get it in there. I wouldn't mind finding one and making one myself. Although, looking at the first picture, I thought it was a legacy 2.5gt for a second.

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
We ran against a Series 2 L67 swapped Grand Am this summer. Owned buy a guy in Portland. It was at our Xmas party Saturday as well. That'* the green one with 'L67" something on the license plate.
