I have a small amount of up and down play in my tilt column. Almost as though the detent isn't fully seated to hold it firmly?
Does anyone in the group know of an adjustment for this problem and might tell me of how to correct it?

Remove the hushpanel and tighten the 2 bolts on the column cradle. See if that helps any.

Arethese the olts that secure the column to the bottom of the dashboard? I recently rplaced the dimmer switch and know those bolts to be very tight???
