any fellow boarders out there? if you are you'll understand this:
I bought a 2005 Never Summer TITAN 160...used it twice...went off a huge jump...creased the surface laminate....NS literally built me a brand-new board under warranty! WOW! I will never, ever ride anything but a Never Summer board.
BTW, my board number is 599 out of only 650 ever built.

I don't but my nephew was a great snowboarder. He gave it up after he broke his leg in a snowboarding accident. He use to skateboard when he was younger and did some awesome jumps and tricks. I was very impressed watching him.

snow: the white, flaky, slippery substance that falls from the sky causing potentially hazardous driving conditions
hazardous conditions: conditions that may warrant SLOWING DOWN
slowing down: making the stupid little needle that tells you you are going way to friggin fast proceed to a lower value.
Attention SUV drivers: because you have an SUV, that does not automatically mean that you can handle anything. While yes, you may handle a smidge better than a civic, rear wheel drive will only go SO FAR. AWD or 4WD will aid in situations, but when you hit a patch of ice, your fancy suv goes from a Nice handling Tank to an unguided missle with shiny chrome and passengers.
I hope no body from around here reads this. it was kinda funny watching the news, and seeing all of the RWD SUV'* having a grand ole time skating down the road thinking they had it made.

Snowboard thread, not soapbox!
No soup for you!
I got a mean board here. Purpose built for SPEED..
2002 Palmer Carbon Circle. It'* got a flame of the american flag on it, and a carbon base. It carves like nothing i've ever ridden, but it'* hard as hell to spin in mid air cause it'* so stiff. A full $800 bare board i got for like $150 at a ski swap with burton freestyle bindings. It smooths out chatter like nothing, but is harder for tricks.
Glad I leanred to carve out in idaho before the hills in MN.
Bill, Timberline is GREAT. I had so much fun there.
