true reporters are liberal but the editors are usually conservative. and i don't believe that liberalism is some sickness, it helps balance out the conservatives. oh and if you were to look at demographics, most of the country is undecided.

What amazes most about all most of the posts is the generalizaitions. If you have some specific concerns about the greatest country on earth - The United States of America - say them. All of this generalization is a "feeling" - What specifically is bothering you. We can not have a true debate on issues - and that is where some of you are trying to go - without facts, feelings are a tact used to sidestep the issues. So, as i said to SOL a few days ago - What is your beef (and i don't want to hear about the Mad Cow'* being brought here from Canada )?

Good point Xac. I got feelings to, but I refuse to say them because that is exactly what they are (feelings) and nothing important.

I agree! Maybe we can pin this thread on the conservatives or liberals!

Politics is nothing more than ideology. Want a better government? Vote better people into office, kick out all the lawyers and politically affiliated families (think Kennedy'*) and put some working people in there; like doctors, small business owners, teachers and so forth. The only reason the U.*. government is so corrupt is because Americans voted corrupt politicians into it.

Yes, I could see it now; people MUST tip the barber, schools will have all the funding while the police force diminishes, our foreign policy will be run by construction workers while the defense plan will be initiated by the librarians. I dont think everything turns out great like 'Head of State' did.

Go ahead and make jokes, but you don't know what youre saying. Schools have crappy funding, police forces ARE being downsized and the U.*. foreign policy makes America look like a terrorist. So I guess the States are better off with what they have now?

Why does only half the pop. vote? Well let'* see no matter what 40% of voters will vote strictly Republican. 40% will vote strictly Democrat, while the remaining 20% actually gives a damn about what a canidates views are.
