Do you avoid the discount autopart retail stores?
I will not go to autozone or advance for electrical parts..I pretty much do all my part shoping at oriley or napa...I have found a couple good deals on same brand parts at pep boys but dont go there much hardly at all.

My birthday is coming up too, perhaps I'll get one. I'll have no problem using it. Tools are simply the best gift, even if they come in the form of a gift card.

I sense AutoZone and Adance Auto make a much higher profit using private label Chinese knockoffs than stock parts from DELPHI/AC DELCO, MOOG, Wagner, etc. They do stock a few of them, but I am discovering they are stocking less of the name brand/ tested parts and only stocking their so called private label stuff.
I usually get my parts at Canadian Tire and Car Quest. Parts from seem to be of fairly good quality, and I haven't had any trouble yet, and i'm not always the easiest on my vehicles. The only thing I get at Wal Mart is oil and washer fluid if its on sale.
I usually do autozone and Oreillys, can't argue with lifetime warranties on stuff, especially when there is not much to go wrong, and the part is easy to replace. Otherwise, I go online for some stuff too.
I wouldn't go Napa usually unless I was tired of replacing the same part every other week.
