my best buy knowledge comes in handy again. alls i know is they have a wand that they wave in front of the spot on the tv to correct it. it may be that its already been damaged and it taking the magnet away wont help. the wand should fix that. if you pull the speaker farther away and it no longer distorts then try shielding directly under the speaker (assuming you were only trying on top of the tv)

thats called a degausser, its only a temporary solution, see i dont have room to move the speakers away, so i need sometihng that will prevent the magnetism entirely
Lead based paint has not available for residential use since 1978. I’m not sure about industrial or commercial applications, but I know you can’t get it for use in your home. FHA has guidelines about lead based paint due to children eating the peeling paint chips and it and causing bain dramage. The experts say the paint chips taste sweet and some cities require lead paint abatement to a certain height due to the possibility of kids eating or chipping the paint away.
