What types have horrible things have happened to your cars, accidents, explosions, fires, etc.

Nothing real huge for me other than the buick being totalled after being rearended at 45 mph kinking the frame and ruining my trunk alignment

I hit a deer, didn't even see it until it was flying past my windshield. I have pictures someplace, will have to dig them up.

Nothing cool, just taking hits like nobody'* business. This one has been rear ended, hit in the door, and hit a massive dog that tweaked the LF corner. That is not even counting the hits it took before I got it.

Worst I did was merge lanes into a Mitsubishi on the highway. Caved in the fancy plastic part of its front fender, and left a scratch and a huge dent on my door. But it was her boyfriend'* car, so she didn't want to deal with insurance, so I somehow got off very lucky.

Then I went home, grabbed a plunger and some dish soap, and pulled out the dent. I still have the scratches, though.
