Digital Camera'*
What kind of Digital Camera do you guys recommend that is affordable? Right now I have a Kodak EasyShare C300 and obviously by looking at my pictures, it isn't that great of a camera. Any input would be appreciated.

I highly recommend the Canon Powershot A630 8 Megapixel Camera. I bought one for my wife for Christmas and it'* sweet! It'* the best value for the # of megapixels. I paid $251 shipped to my house.
Canon makes some very good equipment. Do yourself a favor in the future, stay away from Kodaks.

mineis only 2.1 MP but i have done 8X10'* with no prob or distortion

that and it is a tough little bugger it gets droped and what not with no prob the 1 prob is the card is not a standard any more it is the big XD card so geting a reader is kinda hit or miss
but just hit up ebay and see what you like and go with new in your price range

NOT eBay!! To make sure you get what you want, within your budget, head to you local electronics or camera store and play with the display models. Only after that should you consider eBay or other online sources. It ain't worth supposedly saving money if you end up getting something you don't like
Unless you plan on printing 8x10'* or bigger, you don't need more than 5 MP. You can spend the rest of your budget on Optical Zoom.

More pixels is not necessarily the answer either. Do some research on the many sites that review cameras and find one that fits your needs and buget.

dpreview.com and imaging-resource.com are EXCELLENT resources when doing comparisons.
My recommendation is to determine what fits your needs best by visiting those websites AND going to the big box stores. At the stores, check the look and feel, size, finish, etc.
Then, come back to the internet to do the shopping. You'll typically find the prices from an online reseller 10-15% less, including shipping. The A630 I bought was nearly $400 from the big box stores. Buying from buy.com saved me a significant amount of money.
