whats the mileage on your Riv? if its a reasonably high mileage car, the dealer really has no use for it other than sending it to an auction...

the Riviera currently has 116,000 miles on it. And, I'm not spending money just because I can. I had wanted a regal before I bought the Riviera but ran across the Riv so I just bought that. (how could you pass up a Riviera for $5,500?!) I'm not spending money just because I can either. I'm putting 20,000 miles a year on this car and figured it might not be a bad idea to get something newer/less miles for the commuting. a car with 38,000 miles would last a long time.

I would keep the Riv. Regals are like the immatation of a Bonne, just without the attitude. But 1000$ sucks for trade in.

Fast? I dont care if it does 1/4 in 13 seconds, its look will never be as intimidating as a Bonne, its a Buick. Get the Regal from 87' (GN). Now THATS intimidating!

Stock for Stock this is true by about .5 second in the 1/4. The Regal is lighter.

GP GTP still rules the roost for power from the L67 in stock trim.

Riv'* got more class IMO, and is a 2 door. Parking lots may suck, but it'* so sleek.

Oh Regals can be made to look more bad *** then a bonneville. White regal with gray lower paint, and blacked out tail lights....
