Are you getting another engine for it? And in the future how about some tear down pics of the blown 3800... I'm still interested in knowing what exactly failed... I have only seen one or two blow up...

Yeah when I joined here I was only 14. And got my Bonneville at 13. Every car I see is a gem.. compared to mine!

Once I get funding I will tear down the old engine, but in all liklihood, it will turn out to be the main and rod bearings failing, because towards the end of the engine'* life my oil pressure was slowly declining.

It does feel great, even with the junky car, I've already put on 700mi in 5 days. Darn thing runs good, but I'm eating up fluids like gas.
