Well guys, it'* here. Today is the day. I turned 16 yesterday, and will be getting my license today [actually within about 2 hrs]. I am so incredibly excited that I can't calm down. Anyways, I thought you guys may want to see a pic of my g-ride [].

Do not let your eagerness fail your test!!!!!!

Good luck; but if you do fail, have fun with it. Do your best to give the instructor a heart attack

I already had taken the driving portion, and the written portion.. so it was a quick in-out at the DMV.

But anyways, got my license, first thing I did was of course leave. Went, picked up a buddy, went to the gas station, walk around car, and by the time I was done putting $5 in, I had a giant puddle of coolant. In the first 5mi of me having my license and driving my pos, i blew my water pump. How great. It was around 4, and the junkyard closed at 5, so i hauled over there, pulled a water pump, drove to the local napa and picked up a w/p gasket [these two were about 20-30mi round trip. Get home, and a lady friend calls, and wants to go out. No time to put in the w/p, and drive all around everywhere, taking her out.. well all in all I drove 120mi on a blown w/p. Used up about 4ga of water during this time. But other than that, the little corsica that could.. did.

Always good to have the freedom to drive!

And get the corsica going so that you have time to fix that SSE, lol.

The freedom is sweet.. and it'* awesome not to care if the car breaks down, because I've got a free tow no matter what [my mom is dating a tow truck driver].

I've already got 3 jobs, and by next week will be working 60-80hrs/wk. I'll have the money to fix the b'ville by the end of the summer, and once school is in I will have access to the autoshop and can install the engine and rebuild the trans. Because I know that my corsica will be a 6mo car. Even if it isn't, I'll want an older car by then, and I'll just sell it anyways. But for now she'* my wheels.
