So CAI'* are illegal?????? That'* absurd. What for? Are they illegal in Minnesota??? Man, like what'* it gonna do if it'* not in a box -is it gonna bite you? Or maybe it'll **** on your shoes officer!!!!
But seriously why in the hell are cold-ari intakes illegal. I see them all over the place, and I don't believe that K&N cone filter boxes (or boxes of any make of CAI'*) say anything about being illegal in certain states or providences.
Anyhow, that'* as sad case -sounds like we need to put a little tighter noose around the laws reach.

I think it might have to do with the filter being unprotected, and possible to damage? Maybe cops just don't like you having an edge? But then everything thats a mod is an edge...

I heard someone got a ticket for a CAI cause 1. It'* not OEM 2. There was no Vacuum line and/or the lil sensor was removed and yadda yadda yadda..

Think they just want a money grab, and meet their quota.. and they're just jealous. Mind you I guess it doesn't matter to them to drive the Sh!it out of Tax payers Caprice/ Crowns/ Impalas we provided for them hoppin curbs and ****.

I even had a friend who got a ticket for doing an Illegal U-Turn ( but that was thrown out of court cause the cop didn't even show up ).. my buddy went into someones drive way.. backed out.. and went the other way.. where the hell is that illegal and unsafe?? needless to say it was STILL inconvinience to loose a days pay just to sit in court and find out the case is thrown out.
