Default Dark day in Canada...

The Conservatives win a minority government in Canada this evening...

I will be wearing all black tomorrow to mark the occasion :P

At least my party made significant gains.

And the conservatives maybe a minority now but by next election that will change.

Darkshadow:
Liberals are kinda like Democrats
Conservatives are kinda like Republicans

Sort of off topic:
I bet they are all like politicians, take credit when something goes right and blame the other party when something messes up.

I to am glad the liberals are out. Re-electing them would be like saying it was ok to do everything they did. All the parties are crooks you just have to vote for the party that will do the least amount of damage

Right, and I felt the Liberal party wasn't the party that would've done the most damage. In elections previous, hot issues were same-sex marriage, and the war in Iraq. Canadians took a stand on those issues - pro same-sex, against Iraq.

So who do we go and vote for? The guy who will want to take that away and send us to war Liberal scandal wasn't enough of an issue for me to vote against them. I think there'* an even bigger monster in the closet - the one who'* now out and about to take over.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that any funding for Toronto is now fucked?

At least it'* a minority...

Werd Jerry.

People forget this isnt the TORIES, its the CANADIAN ALLIANCE...ie Neo-Conseratives, thankfully this time due to a conserative party minority, there will be co-operation...hopefully.

124 Conservative to 103 Liberal is not a decisive win. I look forward to change, yet I worry about the identity of our great oil rich country.

The unfortunate truth with a minority government... lots of tax $$$ wasted going towards it

Honestly... if it was back in the days of the OLD tories - the Progressive Conservatives, who were known to be 'right of centre' - I just might've supported them. But not now. :(
