My fam'* 95 ford contaur just decided to dump its alternator again. this will be the 2nd time since we got it. God I love my bonnie. It cracks me up that my car is better then my dads and I have near 0 income

We also have a 1995 Ford F-150 that'* not even rusting and has had no repairs needed that have been over $200, and total repairs have been less than $2000. not bad since we've had him (yes the truck'* a him) since 96. Our 1998 Windstar has had new tie rods in the front, that'* it. Both still have picup like you wouldn't believe, although the truck is a manual, so that'* partially the driver
There are good ones and there are lemons in every car brand, i don't see the need to hate one or the other. We had a chevy truck before the F-150, and it was one of the lemons. I am totally impartial.
