soory but im a big viper guy also and id say u can try but not for 3 grand u aint gonna beat a viper. it can be done but it would take alot of work. its possible looks and zzp grandprix runing 10'* but he spend alot more them 3 grand.

Why don't you go to brainerd and race. But Not the silly 1/4 mile track, do the full road course.

Tell him screw the $3k, make it an even-money race. Give you the difference in price between your car and a Viper. Even with that $3k you're still talking about $30k-$40k difference in price(brand new) between the LSS and a Viper, depending on year.
For that kind of money, you could get your LSS down ino the 10'*.

Dad doesn't know sh*t about cars. He kinda has a ricer mentality. He thinks because it looks mean and has a V 10 it is "unstoppable". I was watching over my old neighbors Z06 one day and I told him this could smoke the Viper. He said, " I don't think so". I just shook my head.

believe it or not, but their is a vid some where that has an electric car smokeing a viper in the 1/4 MI. :P
