CQ CQ, any Hams around?
Finally retested and got back my Amatuer Radio license after being expired for 7 years, attended a second VE session last night and passed General. Anyone else here operate Amatuer Radio?
Guess I should put my callsign down too, KE5JAZ, not active on anything yet, but when I was a ham before (late80'* and 90'*) I loved HF, really looking forward to 40 thru 10 meters. Went thru all my paperwork from past years and could only find one QSL card out of the many that used to grace my bedroom walls.
Still waiting for Cheetah, TelePlayer, Sid Coleman, and dakotaslt49. I found another thread relating to amatuer radio.

Thats how my 71 GTO was in high school. I had 3 whips on the trunklid. One for 144mhz, one for 70cm, one for CB (for my buddies who werent hams.
One friend had dual bumper mount 102" whips on a 78 Chevy Monza. Now that looked odd on such a small car. Those were fun days.
