I have to say the whole thing seems pretty bizzarre to me. I agree, Cocaine is a life destroyer, and it was an awful idea to give an 'energy' drink that moniker.
On the other hand, I've got a few cans of Coke in my fridge, and I recall someone releasing a perfume called 'Opium' sometime in the past.
I understand it'* not really a fair comparision. It'* just interesting to watch societal norms shift over the years.

Cocaine does nothing more than destroy people, tear apart families and cost taxpayers monetarily in crime and healthcare costs. To try and draw ANY similiarity between such a destructive drug and an energy drink in a can is appalling. What were these people thinking? As for the humour aspect... whoever thought that up is pretty twisted. There is little doubt in my mind that at least someone out there will think it'* pretty good and the "real stuff" must be better.

"SHAZAAAM!"/tyrone biggums. j/k. i agree, even though it could be funny in the right situation, overall, naming an energy drink after such an addictive, destructive substance wasnt that bright.
